THIS ITEM IS SOLD JW Benson London Antique Victorian silver fusee pocket watch In good working order. The fusee chain drive movement with lever escapement signed, J. W. Benson, 62 & 64 Ludgate Hill, London. Watchmaker by Warrants to The Queen and The Prince of Wales. Numbered 36054 with the same number repeated on the silver case. The case hallmarked London 1880 and also with Bensons J.W.B. mark in an oval punch. The enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and gilt hands. There are some hairlines in the dial around the seconds dial @ 7 and 5. The watch case is 50mm in diameter and 18mm thick over the glass. In good working order, complete with winding key. There are no personal inscriptions on the watch. The hinges are in good condition and the back cover springs open when the stem button is pressed.
