THIS ITEM IS SOLD Congreve Rolling Ball Clock. Circa 1970 Possibly made by Sylbert Clocks of Eastbourne. The 3 silver dials show, seconds, minutes, and the hour. It has an 8-day fusee, time only movement. The small steel ball rolls back and forth on the lower platform in a zigzag track. When the ball reaches the end of the table, which takes 12 seconds it triggers a lever and the platform tilts, then the steel ball rolls back to the other end. The clock stands on a mahogany box plynth and on a stand with adjustable feet that the glass cover sits on. It has it's original key. Dimensions; The complete clock with its glass cover is 40cm / 15.75 inches high 29.5cm / 11.5" wide 28cm / 11" deep. The clock itself is 28cm / 10 inches high.
