Barraclough & Sons, Leeds Mahogany arched top case with brass bound pad and brass folding handle, pierced brass fish scale side sound panels, 2 brass bound spandrels below dial, on a plinth base and standing on brass bun feet, rear door with pierced brass sound panel. Silvered dial with Roman numerals and steel moon hands, inscribed "Z. Barraclough & Sons, Leeds", enclosed in a gilt brass bezel. Two train 8-day fusee movement striking the hours and the halves on a gong with heavy pendulum and screw down transportation lock, fast / slow adjustment via dial arbor above 12. With the original brass double ended key numbered 3/6 and front and back door keys Dimensions; 15.5 inches / 39cm high.
